The Story Behind the Name

Blue Spruce Emporium is named in honor of my dad, who passed away in 2023. He had a quiet, generous habit of planting baby blue spruce trees — tending them carefully and giving them away to others. Over the years, I planted many of those trees myself. Now every time I see one, I think of his love, his patience, and the way he poured himself into things meant to outlast him.

This shop is my version of that. Every piece I make is meant to root itself in someone's home, mark something that matters, and last long after the moment has passed.
